We were discharged from the hospital on Wednesday- November 10 after Mason was circumcised the night before (MaryAnne) and Dr. Leazenby came in to check on us first thing that morning. They also checked Mason’s hearing and such and all was well! I was SOOO excited to go home! Mason’s going home weight was 8 pounds, 14 ounces. He slept the whole way home. When we got home, I cried. It was soo good (and emotional) to be home finally with Mason in our arms. Gunner was excited to see us too and sniffed Mason a few times, then ignored him. He wanted my attention more than worrying about this new little person.
Huge thank you to Donnie & Tricia for taking care of the kids and Gunner. Thanks SOOO much! We love you guys!
Thank you also to my friend Stephanie for the Welcome Home poster on Mason's door (Tricia put it up :)-- I was crying again before we even opened Mason's door to show him his room! *hugs*
