39 weeks----

Alrighty, I guess it’s time for an update eh folks?
Well, this last Monday, I was suddenly plagued with yet another wonderful ‘side effect’ if you will of pregnancy.  We won’t go into it here, but let me just say OWWWWW!!!!!!!!  Yet one more reason to be afraid of naturally delivering Mr. Mason…
Onto other news- Tuesday of this week, Josh and I had yet another ‘dripping’ trip to Labor & Delivery.  They did the fern test yet again and still say it wasn’t amniotic fluid, but Josh and I both saw it with our own eyes that it was not urine.  After a few hours at the hospital watching my contractions (they were coming every 3 to 6 minutes apart), they sent us home.  I gotta tell ya, I was quite a lot a bit frustrated and disappointed.  But, my wonderful husband reminded me that we have a lot to be thankful for and he’ll be here in no time…can’t stay in there forever….right?
So, let’s see, moving on.  Because we were in the hospital for a bit Tuesday night and they checked me (dilated barely to 2cm), we didn’t have to go to our appointment on that Wednesday.  This was super great with me as because of the newest pregnancy ick, I don’t think I couldn’t made the trip sitting down.  If we don’t deliver soon, we’re scheduled for a Non-Stress Test Wednesday to make sure all is well with Mason in there.  His heartbeat looked good on the monitors at the hospital the other night and he seemed to be handling the contractions very well.
Now, still with a few contractions and crampiness here and there, we wait…. Until next time folks….

PS: Here's a new picture of this big ol' belly, getting ready for bed at 39 weeks, 5 days (almost 39w6d).  My mom thinks Mason is going to be a 10 pounder!!!! OUCH!!!
